Event Details
Since the roll-out of the Security Industry Transformation Map (ITM) in 2018, it has become Singapore’s vision to build a vibrant, technologically advanced and competitive security industry that delivers better security for the country and better jobs for Singaporeans. As outlined in the Guide on Outcome-Based Security Contracts by the Security ITM Tripartite Committee, it expounds a key strategy towards achieving this paradigm shift with less reliance on manpower and more leverages on technologies.
In promoting the new vision, the Centre for Protective Security, a department in the Singapore Police Force, had joined hands with CEMS to conduct an Outcome-Based Contracting Technical Webinar on November 10, 2020 to inform some 350 registered security and management professionals that attended.
Today, outcome-based security contracting is an extremely crucial part of Singapore’s Digital Transformation roadmap. In keeping overheads low, security organisations and consultants are looking to develop risk-mitigation and assessment plans, as well as focusing on up-skilling their security personnel for the digital economy.
We are therefore delighted to present the sequel Outcome-Based Contracting Conference 2021, to take place at the Marina Bay Sands Singapore on Friday, 2 July 2021, in conjunction with the Safety & Security Asia 2021, as part of the Architecture & Building Services (ABS) 2021.
The OBC 2021 Conference brings together 7 experts to advocate the rationale for adopting OBC, The How’s and What’s in measuring the cost of its implementation, as well as real-live illustrations of case studies in the residential, commercial and industrial settings.
This is a must attend event for all security agencies and professionals to be in sync with the current Security ITM we are threading.
